Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- able to report to shift on time and in full uniform
- ability to multi task and work in a very fast paced environment
- enthusiastic about interacting and helping guests
- able to make independent decisions for guests
- self-directed with minimal supervision
- willing to follow instructions and take direction
- flexible and adaptable
- supportive of co-workers
- able to complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
- able to work at different locations in the resort area including outdoor locations
- ability to transport trays weighing up to 30 pounds continuously
- ability to move or push goods weighing up to 200 pounds
- ability to stand or walk continuously throughout shift
- ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job
- prior hospitality/server experience preferred but not required
- must obtain TABC and Food Handlers Certification prior to beginning work
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
- excellent hospitality skills
- strong verbal communication skills
- able to work any shift including mornings, mid-shifts, nights, or doubles
Job Duties
- Welcoming and interacting with all guests
- greeting guests, taking their order, entering order into POS system and verifying order by repeating back to guest
- suggesting additional items as appropriate
- receiving and processing payments correctly via room charge or credit/debit
- preparing and serving coffee and coffee-less beverages and food items using retail equipment such as espresso machines and microwaves
- maintaining clean and organized work and customer areas following health and safety guidelines
- promoting new coffee offerings and seasonal specials to enhance brand awareness and sales
