Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • able to report to shift on time and in full uniform
  • ability to multi task and work in a very fast paced environment
  • enthusiastic about interacting and helping guests
  • able to make independent decisions for guests
  • self-directed with minimal supervision
  • willing to follow instructions and take direction
  • flexible and adaptable
  • supportive of co-workers
  • able to complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
  • able to work at different locations in the resort area including outdoor locations
  • ability to transport trays weighing up to 30 pounds continuously
  • ability to move or push goods weighing up to 200 pounds
  • ability to stand or walk continuously throughout shift
  • ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job
  • prior hospitality/server experience preferred but not required
  • must obtain TABC and Food Handlers Certification prior to beginning work
  • ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • excellent hospitality skills
  • strong verbal communication skills
  • able to work any shift including mornings, mid-shifts, nights, or doubles

Job Duties

  • Welcoming and interacting with all guests
  • greeting guests, taking their order, entering order into POS system and verifying order by repeating back to guest
  • suggesting additional items as appropriate
  • receiving and processing payments correctly via room charge or credit/debit
  • preparing and serving coffee and coffee-less beverages and food items using retail equipment such as espresso machines and microwaves
  • maintaining clean and organized work and customer areas following health and safety guidelines
  • promoting new coffee offerings and seasonal specials to enhance brand awareness and sales
