Job Requirements
- 2-year degree from accredited university in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
- 8 years experience in management operations, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- or 4-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
- 6 years experience in management operations, sales and marketing, or related professional area
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple departments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Financial management experience
- Ability to coach and develop team members
- Commitment to high service standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within executive team
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Functions as strategic business leader of property operations
- Acts as General Manager in absence of senior leadership
- Develops and implements operations strategy aligned with brand service strategy
- Oversees Front Office, Retail/Gift Shops, Recreation/Fitness, Housekeeping, Security/Loss Prevention, Engineering/Maintenance, Food and Beverage/Culinary, Event Management
- Leads Executive Committee and department heads to ensure operational excellence
- Monitors financial performance and manages profitability and departmental budgets
- Ensures capital expenditures align with service strategy priorities
- Coaches and supports operations team to manage occupancy, rate, wages, and controllable expenses
- Communicates operational goals clearly to team
- Conducts regular property tours and engages with employees and guests
- Hires, trains, and conducts performance appraisals for operations management team
- Promotes employee satisfaction and fair treatment
- Implements brand and regional business initiatives
- Addresses employee concerns and fosters open communication
- Models desired service behaviors and fosters excellent guest service
