Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Work in conjunction with the Area General Manager to actively manage all property issues
  • Lead all hotel operations including budgeting and forecasting
  • strategic planning
  • leading service initiatives
  • leading and managing balanced scorecard performance
  • implementing and complying with company policies and standards
  • responding to guest inquiries and resolving concerns
  • Participate in hotel-wide meetings
  • Direct and oversee large projects such as renovations, contract changes, infrastructure upgrades, capital projects and brand updates
  • Develop meaningful, achievable hotel budgets and other short- and long-term hotel strategic goals
  • Provide effective leadership to the hotel management team and team members to ensure revenue targets are met and exceeded while prioritizing guest satisfaction
  • Ensure cost control throughout operational departments and analyze results regularly
  • Respond to company audits to ensure continual improvement
  • Plan, direct and coordinate service and delivery of all operational departments to meet and exceed guest expectations
  • Monitor and lead new strategies and approaches to customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Comply with and exceed hotel and Hyatt standards
  • Manage and develop Heads of Department to ensure career progression and effective succession planning
  • Encourage communication and collaboration across departments
  • Seek and respond to guest feedback for positive outcomes
  • Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the management team
  • Maintain and grow relationships with other area hotels and community leaders
  • Promote positivity and passion for hospitality throughout the hotel
