Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel operations
  • At least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role with focus on Food & Beverage management
  • Experience in full-service or upscale hotel environment
  • Familiarity with seasonal mountain resort destinations desirable
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency with POS and PMS hotel management software
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proactive and resourceful work ethic
  • High integrity and professionalism
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Ability to perform under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • Superior problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in hotel management software such as Toast and OnQ
  • Deep understanding of hotel operations and guest service principles
  • Proven track record in improving guest satisfaction scores
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and resourceful with ability to work independently and in teams

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage
  • Ensure all departments operate efficiently and meet established standards
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
  • Monitor daily operations for compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate department heads and staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching
  • Manage recruitment, training, and scheduling of departments
  • Champion a guest-centric culture and proactively address guest concerns
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective actions
  • Handle escalated guest complaints professionally
  • Collaborate with General Manager on budget development and financial performance
  • Implement cost control measures
  • Provide strategic direction for food and beverage
  • Work with Executive Chef to create innovative menus
  • Oversee maintenance and preventative programs with Director of Engineering
  • Ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Develop emergency procedures and train staff
  • Contribute to strategic planning and lead special projects
