Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of leadership experience in hotel management
- Minimum 2 years in food and beverage leadership at a Marriott property
- Strong understanding of front office and rooms division operations
- Experience managing high-volume food and beverage and banquet services
- Proficiency with Marriott operational systems and technology
- Ability to analyze and act on performance metrics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of hotel leadership experience including at least 2 years as a division head or higher in food and beverage at a full-service Marriott
- Strong background in rooms division and front office leadership with proven success in operational execution and guest satisfaction
- Demonstrated experience managing high-volume food and beverage operations, banquet services, and outlet profitability
- Proficient with Marriott systems and tools such as MGS, FMPMS, and MARSHA
- Ability to analyze performance data, diagnose opportunities, and take decisive action
- Passion for people and performance with a focus on talent development and emotional intelligence
- Strengths-based leadership style and ability to lead diverse teams effectively
Job Duties
- Direct daily hotel operations with emphasis on front office, food and beverage, and operational technology
- Oversee multiple food and beverage outlets and banquet operations, supporting innovation in menu engineering, labor efficiency, guest experience, and profitability
- Champion Marriott brand standards, service excellence, and continuous process improvement
- Collaborate with department heads including food and beverage, housekeeping, engineering, and sales to ensure cohesive execution and associate engagement
- Spearhead technology-forward guest experiences such as mobile key, digital check-in, and service recovery tools
- Serve as acting general manager in the general manager’s absence and participate in owner and brand-facing meetings
- Leverage individual and team potential to build and develop high-performing teams
- Monitor and optimize hotel metrics including guest satisfaction scores, revenue per available room index, gross operating profit, food cost percentage, and labor productivity
