Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be willing to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand or remain stationary for 3-4 hours at a time
  • Must be able to type, operate office machinery, and manually handle tools and controls
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, lift and transport up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to inspect and observe details at close and long range
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English
  • Must be able to read and interpret business and safety documents in English
  • Must be able to write routine reports, business letters, and correspondence in proper English
  • Must be able to speak effectively before groups
  • Must be able to read and interpret business records and statistical reports
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

  • Basic market knowledge preferred
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Progressive experience in hospitality or related service industries preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests’ names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Conduct daily walks including guest rooms and public spaces to ensure friendly service and cleanliness
  • Verify all rooms are inspected daily and adhere to cleanliness standards
  • Provide one-on-one training to new team members on service and checklist expectations
  • Manage shift operations ensuring guest needs are met and friendly service is maintained
  • Supervise check-in and check-out periods as well as meal services
  • Foster a positive culture among team members and guests
  • Assist in inventory management and purchase order processing according to company policies
  • Oversee invoice processing and ensure proper accounting practices
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and ensure compliance with brand standards
  • Maintain fire and life safety certifications and correct any deficiencies
  • Escalate service or delivery failures appropriately
  • Confirm preventative maintenance tasks are completed and of high quality
  • Ensure team members adhere to work schedules and provide shift coverage when needed
  • Prepare and complete shift handover reports and daily summary audits
  • Support onboarding processes for new employees
