Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Report to work on time and in full uniform
  • Train and instruct other members of the staff through sharing of knowledge and skills
  • Operate as an independent mechanic by analyzing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality
  • Keep accurate completion and task records in the project files
  • Plunge toilets, unclog drains, repair plumbing, electrical equipment, lamps, air conditioners, and cosmetic items
  • Clean, lubricate, protect, and maintain all tools and equipment
  • Monitor systems and handle emergencies involving the systems
  • Have working knowledge of fire sprinkler and emergency power systems
  • Observe and analyze energy and utilities usage, report energy conservation ideas
  • Be available for emergencies and act to protect guests and associates
  • Take immediate action to correct hazardous conditions
  • Read, log, and interpret readings from meters and gauges
  • Maintain a thorough log of daily activities and problems
  • Clean all engineering areas
  • Work in a neat and efficient manner
  • Complete all work safely and professionally
  • Maintain communication with supervisors
  • Provide training and technical advice to other engineers
  • Maintain knowledge of laws, codes, and regulations
  • Follow safety and security procedures
  • Read and follow standard operating procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
