Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- basic knowledge of maintenance and repair
- previous experience in maintenance or related field preferred
- plumbing skills required
- ability to work weekends and holidays
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow safety protocols
- physical ability to perform maintenance tasks
- valid driver’s license preferred
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- previous hotel or facilities maintenance experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities
- handle minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC maintenance (PTAC), and carpentry repairs
- repair, replace and inspect drains, vents and supply lines, valves, sinks and toilet fixtures
- respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- able to work in a fast paced environment
- maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas and mechanical rooms
- assist with property improvement projects as needed
- pool cleaning, testing, and maintenance
- take direction from the General Manager and comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work place safety
