Job Requirements

  • previous maintenance, engineering, or building repair experience preferred
  • basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
  • friendly, professional demeanor when assisting guests and staff
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs
  • reliable transportation to and from work
  • availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • previous maintenance, engineering, or building repair experience preferred, hotel or apartment setting a plus
  • basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management
  • friendly, professional demeanor when assisting guests and staff
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs
  • prior Marriott hotel experience preferred

Job Duties

  • perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
  • conduct general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, carpentry, and building systems
  • inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair
  • plan repair work using blueprints or equipment manuals as needed
  • handle general repairs such as drywall, painting, doors, locks, and fixtures
  • execute routine maintenance and preventative programs in line with brand standards
  • respond promptly to work orders and collaborate with Housekeeping and Front Office teams
  • maintain building exterior not serviced by contractors including snow removal, lawn care, painting
  • assist with House person and Shuttle Driver duties as needed
  • keep accurate records of completed and pending work in the maintenance log
  • ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company guidelines
  • support technical projects as directed by the supervisor
  • maintain cleanliness and upkeep of facilities and exterior areas
