Job Requirements
- previous maintenance, engineering, or building repair experience preferred
- basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
- friendly, professional demeanor when assisting guests and staff
- working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs
- reliable transportation to and from work
- availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- previous maintenance, engineering, or building repair experience preferred, hotel or apartment setting a plus
- basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management
- friendly, professional demeanor when assisting guests and staff
- working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs
- prior Marriott hotel experience preferred
Job Duties
- perform repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- conduct general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, carpentry, and building systems
- inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair
- plan repair work using blueprints or equipment manuals as needed
- handle general repairs such as drywall, painting, doors, locks, and fixtures
- execute routine maintenance and preventative programs in line with brand standards
- respond promptly to work orders and collaborate with Housekeeping and Front Office teams
- maintain building exterior not serviced by contractors including snow removal, lawn care, painting
- assist with House person and Shuttle Driver duties as needed
- keep accurate records of completed and pending work in the maintenance log
- ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company guidelines
- support technical projects as directed by the supervisor
- maintain cleanliness and upkeep of facilities and exterior areas
