Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel or hospitality maintenance preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and refrigeration systems
- Understanding of OSHA chemical use and storage standards
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications

- Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality maintenance role preferred
- Strong mechanical skills including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and refrigeration knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturer instructions
- Knowledge of OSHA standards for chemical use and storage
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain accurate records on preventative maintenance
- Perform general maintenance, preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs duties as assigned
- Adhere to safety, security and emergency procedures, react appropriately during emergency situations, and act promptly to correct hazards
- Listen to and promptly act to resolve guest problems
- Clean and organize maintenance areas
- Troubleshoot HVAC, MEP and refrigeration systems and perform basic electric and plumbing repairs
- Keep Chief Engineer informed of issues or unusual matters of significance
