Job Requirements
- Self-motivated and organized
- Ability to demonstrate or be trained in advanced maintenance skills
- Knowledge of hotel maintenance systems
- Ability to perform equipment repairs
- Familiarity with pool maintenance operations
- Understanding of safety and compliance regulations
- Effective communication skills in English
- Willingness to work flexible hours for emergency response
Job Qualifications
- Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills
- Experience with dismantling equipment to repair or replace components
- Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration and pool maintenance
- Experience implementing preventative maintenance programs
- Knowledge of building maintenance including minor electrical and plumbing
- Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery faults
- Flexibility to be available for emergency repairs
Job Duties
- Maintain safe and smooth-running hotel property and grounds
- Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC
- Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair
- Implement and monitor programs for safe facility and work environment compliance
- Keep detailed records and reports
- Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members
- Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs
- Provide courteous and friendly guest service
