Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven hands-on experience in general maintenance
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and climbing
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call shifts
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Proven ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance tasks
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and guest satisfaction
- Excellent dependability and sense of urgency
- Willingness to perform housekeeping and laundry duties
- Prior experience in a hotel, apartment, or extended stay maintenance role is preferred
- Experience with commercial cleaning equipment is a plus
Job Duties
- Perform light and preventive maintenance of the facility interior and exterior
- Complete light plumbing tasks such as toilet repair, snaking, faucet repair
- Complete light electrical tasks such as changing outlets and wall switches
- Execute studio preventive maintenance programs including painting, caulking, janitorial work, and room preparation
- Maintain and clean common areas including parking lot upkeep and quarterly preventive maintenance
- Perform laundry duties including sorting, washing, and folding linens and terry
- Cross-train and provide backup coverage for move-out, stay-over, and flex attendant roles
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls when on-call
- Adhere to company standards and perform all duties as assigned by supervision
