Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be knowledgeable in areas such as HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping
- Must be able to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in hotel systems and equipment
- Must be able to recognize potential safety hazards and security problems and act upon each accordingly
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work full-time or part-time hours
- Willingness to perform snow removal and salting duties
- Ability to respond promptly to service requests
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledgeable in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical and electrical malfunctions in hotel systems and equipment
- Ability to recognize potential safety hazards and security problems and act accordingly
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Job Duties
- Ensure maintenance and repair services level is maintained to include electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating and cooling, structural, facilities, ground and parking areas
- Ensure timely response to requests for service by guests, employees, and management to include repair or replacement of all interior fixtures and furnishings
- Implement ongoing preventive maintenance program
- Maintain emergency procedures and equipment and assist with the implementation of all emergency procedures for the safety of all guests and employees
- Monitor and maintain a high level of cleanliness and maintenance, conduct inspections, investigate complaints and implement corrective actions
- Maintain exterior grounds to assure cleanliness
- Remove snow as needed and salt when necessary, arrive earlier to remove snow before guest checkout
- Ensure indoor pool functions and is clean for guests, learn all procedures for the care of the pool, maintain exercise equipment in the fitness center
