Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience
- knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, pool maintenance, and preventive maintenance
- ability to use maintenance software such as Quore
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience required
- working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC basics, pool maintenance, and preventive maintenance programs
- experience using Quore or similar hotel maintenance software preferred
- ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication
Job Duties
- Maintain proper pool chemical levels
- perform backwashing and vacuuming
- ensure pool area cleanliness and safety compliance
- perform preventive maintenance in guest rooms and throughout the property
- change HVAC and AC filters throughout the building
- conduct routine inspections to identify and correct issues before they impact guests
- perform standard hotel plumbing repairs including plunging and unclogging toilets, repairing or replacing sinks and fixtures, addressing minor leaks and drainage issues
- remove debris and ensure clean, safe exterior conditions
- assist with general property upkeep as needed
- change and remove trash throughout the hotel
- assist with maintaining cleanliness in back-of-house areas
- utilize Quore to enter and track preventive maintenance, work orders, and assigned tasks
- accurately document completed work and follow up on outstanding issues
- provide professional, courteous customer service to guests and team members
- respond promptly to maintenance requests with a guest-first mindset
- perform additional duties as assigned outside of the normal maintenance scope when operational needs require
