Job Requirements

- previous experience in laundry services or uniform maintenance
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to operate laundry equipment safely

Job Duties
- Properly sorts, washes, dries and presses uniforms following the approved laundry procedures
- hangs or folds, counts and stacks uniforms following approved laundry procedures
- collects soiled uniforms along with redistributing clean uniforms
- transports supplies to include clean and soiled uniforms to the appropriate storage and collection areas
- provides quality customer service to customers by providing one on one attention to the detail
- routinely inspects uniforms for wear and tear, identifying worn and torn uniforms and following Standard Operating Procedure for damage to uniforms
- maintains the commercial and residential laundry rooms in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition
- performs other duties as assigned
- must be bilingual or efficient in English
