Job Requirements

- Prior experience in laundry services or hospitality preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads safely
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety standards
- Capable of standing for long periods
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping services is advantageous
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team environment
- Commitment to maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards
Job Duties
- Operate equipment necessary to sort, weigh, wash, dry, iron, fold, and package guest laundry and dry cleaning, employee uniforms, and hotel linen
- Log, tag, and package guest and employee clothing and uniforms with accuracy
- Pick up from and deliver to guest rooms and the uniforms room all clothing that needs cleaning or has been cleaned
- Iron and fold guest room and Food & Beverage flat work such as sheets, tablecloths, etc.
- Maintain an acceptable state of cleanliness and organization throughout the entire work area
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards within the department
- Assist other housekeeping employees in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas
- Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests
