Job Requirements

  • 6 months of hotel, resort or casino housekeeping and/or custodial experience
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • Ability to interact effectively with team members and guests
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours at a time
  • Ability to push and pull up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to reach, push, pull, kneel and bend
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to appear for work on time

Job Duties

  • Launder and maintain a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel and casino departments by washing mops, napkins, hotel linen, and rags
  • Maintain adequate supplies and maintain machines by keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents and tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment
  • Maintain a safe work area by keeping laundry room, storage areas, and loading dock clean, organized, and clear of debris
