Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service or laundry experience preferred
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in diverse weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow
- strong communication skills
- basic computer proficiency
- commitment to follow all safety procedures and company policies
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years in previous customer service position
- cleaning experience preferred
- frequent lifting and bending required
- availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
- ability to work in all weather conditions
- basic communication skills including reading, writing, and comprehension
- ability to use a computer for timekeeping and training
- bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Use company standards and procedures to maintain, operate, set, and clean all laundry items and equipment
- Maintain inns’ laundry cleaning schedule to meet daily operational goals and needs
- Maintain laundry and linen storage rooms ensuring adequate supplies and organized conditions
- Examine laundered items for cleanliness and serviceability, separating items requiring additional cleaning or discarding
- Maintain count of damaged or discarded items monthly and report to Inn Management
- Smile and greet guests following the 24-7 rule, maintain positive guest relations and handle guest requests appropriately
- Maintain confidentiality of guests’ information and hotel data
- Work in non-climate controlled conditions such as heat, cold, rain, or snow
- Exert physical effort in operating laundry equipment and transporting linen (up to 50lbs), endure physical movement during shifts
- Comply with all RRI West and OSHA safety and security standards
- Clean public areas including lobby, coffee room, bathrooms, vending room, breakroom, and windows
- Maintain professional dress code and friendly attitude
- Perform self-inspections on linen and accept feedback from management and key personnel
- Cross train in housekeeping, maintenance, or front desk functions where possible
- Perform other duties as assigned
