Job Requirements
- Food handler's license and liquor server permits or ability to obtain
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Ability to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to climb stairs inside and outside in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3-5 years of progressive culinary experience including 1 year in a leadership role
- Experience in fine dining or upscale hotel environment
- Hospitality or hotel work experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
- Menu development and cost control experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation
- Plan, prepare, and execute food service with consistent flavor, texture, presentation, and portion control
- Assist with menu development, costing, and implementation using seasonal ingredients
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, assist with ordering and food storage following FIFO principles
- Enforce food safety and sanitation standards, maintain clean and organized workspace
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, support banquet and catering events
- Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and implement SOPs for operational efficiency and compliance
