Job Requirements

  • Food handler's license and liquor server permits or ability to obtain
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable and consistent attendance
  • Ability to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to climb stairs inside and outside in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive culinary experience including 1 year in a leadership role
  • Experience in fine dining or upscale hotel environment
  • Hospitality or hotel work experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
  • Menu development and cost control experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation
  • Plan, prepare, and execute food service with consistent flavor, texture, presentation, and portion control
  • Assist with menu development, costing, and implementation using seasonal ingredients
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, assist with ordering and food storage following FIFO principles
  • Enforce food safety and sanitation standards, maintain clean and organized workspace
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, support banquet and catering events
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and implement SOPs for operational efficiency and compliance
