- Food handler's card as required by state law
- Liquor server permits as required by state regulations

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary school preferred
- 5+ years in a senior culinary supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Experience in menu development and food preparation
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in inventory and waste management systems
- Commitment to professional appearance and company values
Job Duties
- Assist in creating and managing annual budget for the kitchen and revenue streams
- Plan and execute daily meal periods and hotel banquets
- Keep food and labor costs aligned with goals while maintaining luxury experience
- Manage, lead, mentor, train, evaluate and discipline staff
- Work 50% of time directly in kitchen alongside staff
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations
- Manage food costs and minimize waste
- Assist Food and Beverage Manager with menu development
- Establish pars and inventory systems including waste management
- Coordinate timely delivery of high-quality food
- Lead pre-shift meetings
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Provide support and coverage across departments
- Respond to employee needs professionally and promptly
- Provide high level of customer service
- Handle guest complaints and requests professionally
- Oversee food preparation and expedite service
- Maintain presence during peak service hours and events
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with hotel staff
- Assist with shift coverage during staffing gaps
- Collaborate with Front Desk, Maintenance, and General Manager
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality
- Meet or exceed guest service goals
- Adhere to attendance policies
- Participate in drivers program or other duties as assigned
