Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space and to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis
- Must be able to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees
- Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
Job Qualifications
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written is preferred
- Knowledgeable with carpet care and floor care
- Some experience with carpet and floor care equipment preferred
- Knowledgeable with cleaning chemicals and supply equipment
Job Duties
- Responsible for supplying and furnishing housekeeper's closet linens and amenities for guest rooms
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping closets
- Responsible for pickup of dirty linen from housekeeping carts
- Responsible for furnishing clean linen throughout day
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways of hotel and stairwells (Vacuum/carpet extraction)
- Maintain clean golf carts
- Maintain cleanliness of all hallways and elevators
- Support room attendants by cleaning and stripping guest rooms
- Perform guest requests throughout day
- Ensure work area is clean when finished
- Responsible for being knowledgeable about the hotel
- Always maintain a neat and clean professional appearance
- Enforce hotel safety standards
- Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by Manager
