Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED required
- minimum of 3 years of hotel operations experience required
- valid driver’s license required
Job Qualifications
- A college degree in hotel or restaurant management preferred
- ability to operate computer systems such as Microsoft Office, Front Office PMS, ServicePro, and others
- three years of hotel operations experience
Job Duties
- Establishes and enforces procedures for the safety of guests and co-workers and the security of property
- assures room and lobby cleanliness standards meet QA inspection requirements
- ensures Marriott Reward and Hilton Honors rooms meet established standards
- selects and hires housekeeping staff including room attendants, inspectors, housepersons, and laundry personnel
- assigns rooms and schedules staff according to occupancy and standards
- prepares and assigns monthly cleaning projects
- reports maintenance issues throughout the property
- conducts regular trainings and orientations
- performs co-worker performance appraisals
- conducts monthly inventory of linens and supplies
- functions as Manager-On-Duty and participates in management programs
