Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED required
  • minimum of 3 years of hotel operations experience required
  • valid driver’s license required

Job Qualifications

  • A college degree in hotel or restaurant management preferred
  • ability to operate computer systems such as Microsoft Office, Front Office PMS, ServicePro, and others
  • three years of hotel operations experience

Job Duties

  • Establishes and enforces procedures for the safety of guests and co-workers and the security of property
  • assures room and lobby cleanliness standards meet QA inspection requirements
  • ensures Marriott Reward and Hilton Honors rooms meet established standards
  • selects and hires housekeeping staff including room attendants, inspectors, housepersons, and laundry personnel
  • assigns rooms and schedules staff according to occupancy and standards
  • prepares and assigns monthly cleaning projects
  • reports maintenance issues throughout the property
  • conducts regular trainings and orientations
  • performs co-worker performance appraisals
  • conducts monthly inventory of linens and supplies
  • functions as Manager-On-Duty and participates in management programs
