Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years hotel operations experience required
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Ability to operate computer systems including Microsoft Office, Front Office PMS and ServicePro
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred college degree in hotel or restaurant management
  • Minimum of 3 years hotel operations experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel PMS software such as Front Office PMS and ServicePro

Job Duties

  • Establish and enforce procedures for personal and property safety
  • Assure cleanliness standards in rooms and lobby to pass QA inspections
  • Ensure Marriott Reward/Hilton Honors rooms meet established standards
  • Recruit, hire, and assign housekeeping staff
  • Schedule housekeeping department according to occupancy forecasts
  • Prepare and assign monthly cleaning projects
  • Report maintenance deficiencies
  • Conduct regular trainings and orientations
  • Perform co-worker performance appraisals
  • Conduct monthly inventory of linens and supplies
  • Serve as Manager-On-Duty and participate in management programs
