Job Requirements
- Must be able to carry 25 lbs
- Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience within housekeeping department
- Commitment to superior customer service and excellent customer service skills
- Strong initiative and self-motivation
- Fluency in job related English both verbal and non-verbal
- An appreciation and respect for the diversity of all individuals in the workplace
- Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast paced environment
Job Duties
- Provide maid service for guest rooms and meet cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Replace any unused amenities and report any maintenance concerns
- Assist Lobby Attendant in delivering guest requests
- Provide maid service by doing a thought out cleaning, vacuum, undusted, replenishing amenities, linens, and supplies and filling ice bucket as preferred by guest
- Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents
- Assist PM attendants by stripping and making beds, changing bed linens, dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves in team effort
- Empty trash
- Sign for room keys and restock heavy cart
- Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify cleaning completion
- Assist Lobby Attendant in public areas as needed
- Attend all mandatory meetings
- Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to Safety/Security Department
- Provide general public assistance, instruction and/or guidance for guests and employee safety in the event of an emergency
- Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training
- Keep work area neat and organized
