Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of hotel management or supervisory experience
  • Two years of prior hotel housekeeping experience
  • Basic purchasing and inventory skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of hotel management or supervisory experience
  • Preferably one year of Choice or Best Western hotel experience
  • Strong leadership and professional image
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent decision-making and analytical skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of prior hotel housekeeping experience
  • Basic purchasing and inventory skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist with management and operation of housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure orderly and attractive hotel conditions
  • Promote cleanliness and superior customer care for hotel guests
  • Assist GM in directing housekeeping and laundry activities and daily cleaning service
  • Prepare work schedules for staff based on projected occupancy
  • Provide guest room status reports to Front Desk, Executive Housekeeper, and General Manager
  • Inspect premises, guest rooms, linen rooms, and public areas to maintain housekeeping standards and communicate maintenance needs
  • Maintain inventory of guest and housekeeping supplies and linen, order replacements as needed
  • Create a service environment focused on guests and respond promptly to customer needs
  • Ensure safety practices for employees and guests and assist in emergency and security procedures
  • Assist in training and motivating housekeeping staff
  • Perform room attendant duties when required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
