Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- minimum of three months related experience
- ability to prepare, read, and interpret documents
- ability to write reports and correspondence
- ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals, team members, and guests in person and over the radio
- ability to accurately calculate figures and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state, or federal law
- ability to perform physical demands including standing, walking, using hands to handle objects, reaching, talking, hearing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, occasionally lifting or moving up to 75 pounds
- ability to meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements
- willingness to work in noisy and sometimes outdoor environments with exposure to fumes and varying weather conditions
- ability to understand and respond via pager communications

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Clean and supply 15 guest rooms daily to meet property standards and organize and stock cleaning cart
- check climate control, lights, and alarm clock, making adjustments or reporting broken items
- tidy room including emptying trash, ensuring TV remote works, and drawing sheers
- check and replace room supplies such as soap, shampoo, writing paper, pens, and tissues
- strip beds and load soiled linen on cart
- change bed pads if soiled
- replace soiled linens and provide laundry bags and slips
- make beds according to hotel standards
- make up roll-a-ways before removal
- clean glass surfaces including mirrors and shower walls
- dust rooms, clean vents and fixtures
- clean ashtrays and replace matches
- vacuum carpets including moving furniture and reporting stains
- replace bottle tops of bathroom items and glasses
- clean and dry wash basins, fixtures, and pipes under basins
- clean shower heads, tiles, and scrub bathtubs
- clean toilets and replace toilet rolls and tissues
- sweep and wash bathroom floors
- sign in and out keys, radios or pagers
- report and deliver lost and found items
- verify room status on Assignment Sheet and note discrepancies
- complete room tidies at shift end and pass assignments to Housekeeping Manager
- return carts to Linen Room, restock supplies and report shortages
- complete special cleaning projects as assigned
- attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings
- adhere to company policies and gaming laws
- perform job duties safely including use of protective equipment
- meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards
- perform any reasonable requests to promote productive business operations
