Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
ability to work part time including weekends and holidays
reliable and punctual
physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks including lifting bending and standing for long periods
customer-oriented attitude
ability to follow instructions and hotel protocols
basic English communication skills

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset
ability to work independently and as part of a team
good communication and customer service skills
attention to detail and time management skills
basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures

Job Duties

Cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner following procedures and hotel standards
keeping an organized linen cart that is neat well stocked and organized
reporting any areas within guest rooms that need attention such as fixtures door locks televisions HVAC etc
maintaining security of equipment key and supplies issued
reporting lost and found articles to supervisor
responding to guest requests in a friendly and timely manner
ensuring guest room cleanliness meets hotel standards
