Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Good communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of guest belongings
- Willingness to adhere to company policies, dress code, and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and franchise standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact politely with guests
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching
Job Duties
- Clean hotel guestrooms, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways
- Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry hotel linens
- Clean hotel according to franchise standards including stripping and making beds, dusting furniture, washing walls, ceilings, and woodwork, vacuuming, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors, washing windows, door panels, and sills, emptying wastebaskets and ashtrays, cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, and bathroom fixtures
- Replenish supplies such as bathroom necessities, drinking glasses, and writing supplies
- Move furniture, hang drapes, and roll carpets to comply with franchise requirements
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area
- Replace light bulbs
- Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment
- Greet guests warmly and maintain key control and security policies to ensure guest privacy and security
- Use materials, chemicals, and tools safely to avoid injury, waste, or damage
- Communicate with maintenance department regarding room needs
