Job Requirements

availability to work every Saturday and Sunday
must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
must follow all safety procedures
maintain professional appearance and punctuality
legal authorization to work in the country
willingness to undergo background check if required

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset
ability to follow written and verbal instructions
strong attention to detail
good physical stamina
ability to work independently and as part of a team
good communication skills
reliability and punctuality

Job Duties

clean hotel guestrooms, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways
sort, count, fold, mark, or carry hotel linens
clean hotel according to franchise standards including stripping and making beds, dusting furniture, washing walls, ceiling, and woodwork, vacuuming, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors, washing windows, door panels, and sills
empty wastebaskets and ashtrays
clean and vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
clean bathroom sink, toilet, tubs, and showers
replenish supplies such as bathroom necessities, drinking glasses and writing supplies
move furniture, hang drapes, and roll carpets
transport trash and waste to disposal area
replace light bulbs
stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment
greet guests in a warm, friendly manner
ensure key control and security policies to maintain guest privacy and security
use all materials, chemicals, and tools safely
communicate with maintenance department regarding room needs
