Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant skills training or certification preferred
- Ability to read and write in English
- Previous experience in housekeeping is an asset but not mandatory
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling techniques
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and handle equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Completed skills training school
- English literate to meet business needs
- Knowledge of housekeeping operations on guest floors
- Flexible with working hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Familiar with chemical usage and cleaning room procedures
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and attend to guest needs in line with hotel service standards and profitability goals
- Carry out assigned cleaning duties including making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting surfaces, and vacuuming floors
- Track and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest toiletries as necessary
- Fulfill additional extensive cleaning responsibilities as required
- Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply cart ready for immediate use
- Practice responsible waste disposal and recycling
- Respond promptly to guest service requests
