Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds

- ability to maintain professional image and perform duties in a timely manner
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is advantageous
- ability to operate cleaning equipment and use chemical cleaning agents safely
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work efficiently within time constraints
- strong attention to detail
- physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks
Job Duties
- Clean hotel guestrooms, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways
- sort, count, fold, mark, or carry hotel linens
- clean hotel according to franchise standards and within required timeframes including making beds, dusting furniture, washing walls, ceiling, and woodwork, vacuuming, scrubbing, waxing, polishing floors, washing windows, door panels, sills, emptying wastebaskets and ashtrays, cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, and bathrooms
- replenish supplies such as bathroom necessities, drinking glasses and writing supplies
- move furniture, hang drapes, and roll carpets to comply with franchise requirements
- transport trash and waste to disposal area
- replace light bulbs
- stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment
- greet guests warmly
- ensure key control and security policies to maintain guest privacy and security
- use all materials, chemicals and tools safely
- communicate with maintenance department regarding room needs
