Job Duties
- perform duties to ensure guest rooms and common areas are cleaned
- ensure the best possible experience for each guest
- complete all required company and brand-specific training and certifications in a timely manner
- prepare housekeeping cart upon arrival and at shift closing daily
- follow grooming and appearance guidelines
- wear uniform and name tag while on shift
- use and update the room assignment clipboard
- sign-out and sign-in master room keys daily
- ensure master keys are always secure and never loaned or taken off property
- report room condition and status to head housekeeper and/or front desk
- clean guest rooms to Town Pump and brand standards and timeframes
- perform self-inspections of assigned rooms and areas
- perform duties in other departments as needed (e.g., folding laundry, cleaning lobby)
- maintain a strong work ethic
- display pride and integrity in job performance
- comply with confidentiality expectations
- communicate courteously and professionally with teammates, management, and guests
- have knowledge of general housekeeping and recordkeeping
- comprehend oral and written instructions, correspondence, and memos
