Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for all guest concerns and inquiries
- Initiate service recovery efforts to resolve guest issues and ensure a positive outcome
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through professional and friendly communication
- Oversee the training and onboarding of all new Hotel Hosts, ensuring they are proficient in hotel procedures and guest service standards
- Act as a mentor to the team, providing guidance and support
- Ensure all shifts are covered
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory for all Food and Beverage items
- Place orders for Food and Beverage and other supplies as needed
- Enforce the First In, First Out (FIFO) process for all Food and Beverage to ensure freshness and reduce waste
- Oversee all group reservations, ensuring accurate booking and clear communication with clients
- Conduct regular walk-throughs of all public areas and the kitchen, completing a checklist and providing a follow-up report to management
- Oversee the proper setup and tear-down of meeting rooms for clients
- Maintain and organize storage areas for the Operations team
- Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of management, handling all operational and guest-related needs
- Manage inventory control for Hotel Host Stand and kitchen supplies
- Process billing for third-party booking sites, such as Expedia and Hotels.com
- Be prepared to drive the hotel's airport shuttle van in emergent situations
