Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel front desk role
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to train and supervise staff
- Familiarity with front desk software and reservation systems
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in reservation and property management systems
- Knowledge of cash handling and financial procedures
- Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts diplomatically
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Hire, train, schedule, assign duties and shifts to front desk workers and monitor performance
- Communicate and cooperate with other department heads to ensure coordination of activities and guest satisfaction
- Answer inquiries about property policies, services, and guest concerns
- Develop and maintain guest information files about the property, community, and attractions
- Manage reservation system including inventory, rates, database, security, payments, group reservations, and VIP services
- Adhere to and train staff on cash and credit card handling procedures and post all ledger changes
- Greet guests warmly, register and assign rooms, and ensure proper payment methods and credit policies
- Enforce guest safety by following emergency and security procedures and maintaining key security
- Patrol public areas, investigate disturbances, and resolve conflicts
- Monitor night audit accuracy and handle open balances
- Maintain front desk coverage and cover shifts as needed, including audits
- Train and oversee Van Driver and Housemen positions when necessary
