Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work both first and second shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Punctual and professional
  • Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
  • Willingness to assist other departments as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hotel front desk experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient with computers and ability to use moderately complex computer systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service orientation and team player mindset
  • Ability to accurately handle cash and credit transactions
  • Familiarity with reservation and billing procedures

Job Duties

  • Register and assign rooms to guests
  • Answer inquiries about hotel services, guest registration, and local shopping, dining, and entertainment
  • Maintain records of room availability and guest accounts
  • Make, confirm, and cancel reservations
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and make change
  • Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone
  • Answer, receive, and transfer incoming and outgoing calls, messages, and faxes
  • Ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for in guest statements
  • Assist guests with check-out payments and charges
  • Verify customers' credit and payment methods
  • Account for all cash and make deposits as per company policies
  • Record guest comments or complaints and refer to management
  • Follow company safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • Help other departments as needed
  • Work weekends and holidays
  • Work both AM and PM shifts
