Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work both first and second shifts including weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Punctual and professional
- Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
- Willingness to assist other departments as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous hotel front desk experience preferred but not required
- Proficient with computers and ability to use moderately complex computer systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientation and team player mindset
- Ability to accurately handle cash and credit transactions
- Familiarity with reservation and billing procedures
Job Duties
- Register and assign rooms to guests
- Answer inquiries about hotel services, guest registration, and local shopping, dining, and entertainment
- Maintain records of room availability and guest accounts
- Make, confirm, and cancel reservations
- Compute bills, collect payments, and make change
- Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone
- Answer, receive, and transfer incoming and outgoing calls, messages, and faxes
- Ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for in guest statements
- Assist guests with check-out payments and charges
- Verify customers' credit and payment methods
- Account for all cash and make deposits as per company policies
- Record guest comments or complaints and refer to management
- Follow company safety and security policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- Help other departments as needed
- Work weekends and holidays
- Work both AM and PM shifts
