Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in hospitality or hotel management
  • Proven supervisory experience managing multiple teams
  • Knowledge of state, federal, and local hospitality laws
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Compliance with dress code and professional appearance standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hotel or hospitality management
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of financial management including budgeting and payroll
  • Understanding of franchise agreements and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple departments and staff
  • Familiarity with safety standards and training programs
  • Experience in customer service and conflict resolution
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred degree or certification in hospitality management or related field

Job Duties

  • Reinforces standards for hotel personnel administration and performance in compliance with KHC policies and relevant laws
  • Oversees and manages overall financial performance including revenue management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash handling, and purchasing
  • Develops and manages operating budgets with subordinate managers and Director of Operations
  • Ensures compliance with franchise agreements through inspections, reporting, and addressing capital needs
  • Monitors recruitment, hiring, training, development, and orientation of employees
  • Oversees employee relations and leadership for all staff members
  • Ensures compliance on safety training and programs such as MSDS, lock out tag out, blood-borne pathogens, fire and tornado procedures
  • Controls funds, authorizes expenditures, and assists in budget planning
  • Communicates employee benefits availability during eligibility windows
  • Holds weekly staff and departmental meetings for communication and accountability
  • Schedules and oversees the Manager on Duty system
  • Monitors market changes and competitive trends
  • Approves supply and equipment purchases within guidelines
  • Inspects guest rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance
  • Handles patron complaints and resolves problems for guest satisfaction
  • Ensures ongoing guest satisfaction through customer service and training
