Job Requirements
- A minimum of three years of hospitality management experience
- A valid driver's license
- Successful motor vehicle check
- Ability to lift or move items up to 25 pounds
- Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to travel locally frequently and occasionally to other cities
- Willingness to comply with employment-related laws and regulations
Job Qualifications
- Strong English communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to write clear and effective correspondence and memos
- Experience presenting information to small groups or individuals
- Professional communication skills with guests and associates
- Conversational Spanish skills are beneficial
- Basic computer skills including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience in staff management and directing daily tasks
- Conversational or proficient Spanish skills are preferred
Job Duties
- Exhibit a strong commitment to providing guests with the best possible experience
- Ensure resolution of guest-related issues aligns with company objectives
- Maintain the highest cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms to ensure readiness
- Manage operations in accordance with ESA Brand Standards
- Oversee hiring processes including recruitment, screening, and onboarding
- Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and recognition programs
- Collaborate with District Manager to optimize associate performance through coaching and enforcement of policies
- Lead daily team meetings to communicate updates and improvement areas
- Provide associates with necessary resources for effective performance
- Manage supply levels and budgets through purchasing and inventory oversight
- Efficiently manage guest room availability
- Control labor expenses by approving daily punches and monitoring productivity
- Handle cash management and ensure timely collection of guest payments
- Achieve lead generation goals through attentive lead collection and market awareness
- Enforce ESA standards and ensure compliance
- Oversee completion of bank deposits per policy
- Conduct competitive surveillance
- Review in-house rates regularly
- Comply with employment laws and regulations
- Assist in hotel operations as needed
- Directly supervise Assistant General Manager and team leaders
- Monitor guest experiences online and respond appropriately
