Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in hotel management
  • Proven leadership experience in a hotel environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and on-call shifts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with hotel management software such as HotelKey (PEP) preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years hotel management experience
  • Experience with IHG Hotels preferred but not required
  • Proficient with HotelKey (PEP) Property Management System preferred
  • Demonstrated record of independent, self-motivated work habits
  • Strong ability to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Skillful in executing accurate and timely reporting
  • Ability to focus on both big picture and individual results
  • Proven ability to maximize hotel revenue through defined market segmentation
  • History of superior financial controls and performance
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Capability to understand and apply concepts, practices, guidelines, and procedures
  • Active and visible presence in the local community and hotel industry

Job Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including sales, marketing, human resources, food and beverage, budget and forecast management, rooms, housekeeping, and maintenance
  • Provide vision, leadership, and strategy to inspire associates to deliver exceptional service and achieve financial success
  • Execute successful sales and marketing campaigns
  • Apply dynamic revenue management to drive profit
  • Build rapport and partnership with ownership to meet and exceed expectations
  • Mentor and lead a team of 15 staff members including front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast personnel
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to achieve operational goals
