Job Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in hotel operations management
  • Ability to speak, read, and write the primary workplace language
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computational and computer skills
  • Knowledge of accounting programs and budget analysis
  • Compliance with local, state, and federal laws and employment regulations
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and to push or pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
  • Capacity to work varied hours including weekends and holidays based on business needs
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and walking for extended periods
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 4 hours daily with frequent standing and walking
  • Ability to operate office equipment like computers, printers, and multi-line phones
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of labor laws including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and related statutes

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a related field

  • Competence in financial analysis and budgeting

  • Ability to manage capital improvement projects
  • Advanced knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service excellence

Job Duties

  • Lead effective management of rooms, food & beverage, and engineering departments to maximize financial performance
  • Direct the maximization of room revenue through market analysis and marketing plan participation
  • Measure effectiveness of marketing plans and yield management to diversify revenue
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans defining operational and profitability goals
  • Coordinate capital improvement projects to maintain quality standards and protect assets
  • Conduct regular staff and employee meetings to ensure communication and compliance
  • Manage, train, and counsel sales, catering, and revenue management staff
  • Participate in sales presentations and customer meetings
