Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a General Manager or senior leader at a full-service lifestyle or boutique hotel
- Marriott brand experience required
- Strong business acumen with a proven record of financial and operational success
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Job Duties
- Provide hands-on, strategic leadership across all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Sales & Marketing
- Foster a culture of personalized service, creativity, and operational excellence in alignment with the Tribute brand and local culture
- Inspire, coach, and develop a diverse and high-performing team focused on service and hospitality innovation
- Oversee the hotel’s financial performance including revenue management, forecasting, budgeting, and cost controls
- Drive profitability while maintaining an uncompromising commitment to guest experience
- Analyze operational metrics to identify growth opportunities and implement process improvements
- Champion the delivery of exceptional and authentic guest experiences that reflect the Hotel Aztec’s character and Marriott standards
- Monitor guest feedback and service scores, ensuring timely resolution and proactive enhancement strategies
- Collaborate with Marriott to maintain brand alignment, standards compliance and loyalty engagement
- Partner with the sales and marketing team to position Hotel Aztec as a premier River Walk destination for leisure, business, and group travel
- Cultivate local partnerships and represent the hotel in the community to boost visibility and build lasting relationships
- Leverage Marriott’s marketing channels and tools while celebrating the property’s unique identity
- Support ongoing improvements, capital projects, and property enhancements to elevate guest satisfaction and asset value
- Ensure maintenance and housekeeping standards are consistent with a premium lifestyle hotel
