Job Requirements

  • Experience as a Hotel General Manager or other key leadership roles within a full-service branded or non-branded environment is required
  • ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • strong strategic planning and financial forecasting skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • capability to analyze market trends and competitive intelligence
  • experience in sales and marketing within hospitality
  • previous experience in unionized environments beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a Hotel General Manager or other key leadership roles within a full-service branded or non-branded environment
  • Hilton brand and systems experience preferred
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • strategic thinking related to business leadership and revenue management
  • ability to direct marketing and sales efforts
  • capability to gather and analyze competitive market intelligence
  • experience working with union settings beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • proven track record of achieving financial and guest satisfaction goals

Job Duties

  • Champion the hotel's strategic vision and drive its execution through innovative planning and decisive leadership
  • foster a culture of excellence by empowering associates to deliver outstanding guest service and personalized care
  • serve as an active community partner, enhancing the hotel’s presence and impact within the local area
  • ensure financial performance by delivering accurate forecasts and making timely staffing and operational adjustments
  • lead revenue-generating initiatives and adapt quickly to market trends by guiding Commercial Team efforts
  • engage directly in sales efforts through property tours, presentations, and client meetings to support business growth
  • oversee the recruitment, training, development, and retention of top talent across all departments
  • provide ongoing support and guidance to team members, cultivating a respectful and productive work environment
