Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- 5 to 7 plus years in hotel leadership with at least 3 years as a GM in a full service branded hotel
- Prior Hilton or DoubleTree brand experience is strongly preferred
- Strong leadership financial acumen and communication skills
- Proven record in operational management guest satisfaction and team development
- Bilingual English Spanish preferred for this border market location
- Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to manage property walkthroughs respond to emergencies and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs

Job Duties
- Lead and manage all functional areas including rooms food and beverage sales housekeeping engineering and banquets
- Champion DoubleTree's warm welcome brand promise ensuring top tier service cleanliness and hospitality
- Develop property specific strategies to optimize operational efficiency revenue and profitability
- Act as the hotel's public face fostering relationships with guests employees the local community and ownership
- Oversee budgeting forecasting and financial planning in partnership with ownership and corporate
- Monitor and control labor and operational expenses while overseeing capital improvements to align with financial targets
- Track and analyze KPIs such as GOP RevPAR ADR and GOPPAR to drive accountability and performance
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales and Revenue Management to capitalize on growth opportunities in the Laredo market
- Engage actively in sales outreach networking and promotional initiatives
- Support group corporate and local account efforts
- Hire nurture and retain talent across all departments ensure succession planning and effective performance management
- Promote a service focused culture based on Hilton's hospitality ethos and the DoubleTree brand spirit
- Enhance associate engagement safety and retention through communication recognition and accountability
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws Hilton brand standards and company policies
- Maintain audit readiness at all times including QA brand standards fire safety and health inspections
- Lead safety security and emergency preparedness initiatives
