Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or business administration preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel management or related field
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial performance
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing and revenue management principles
  • Ability to interact effectively with guests, team members and community
  • Compliance with all relevant local, state and federal laws including OSHA and EEOC
  • Proficiency in conducting property inspections and enforcing maintenance standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive and calm demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role
  • Demonstrated success in sales, marketing and revenue management within the hospitality industry
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and forecasting
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics and hospitality trends
  • Familiarity with company and brand quality assurance standards
  • Experience managing food and beverage operations is an asset

Job Duties

  • Direct the development and execution of strategic sales, marketing and revenue management initiatives to achieve targeted RevPAR, room revenue, sales booking pace and sales productivity goals
  • Participate in daily and weekly revenue strategy meetings to adapt to changing market conditions
  • Manage costs effectively to meet gross operating profit (GOP) goals and produce accurate financial forecasts
  • Develop annual business plans including operating budget, sales and marketing plan, and capital plan
  • Oversee food and beverage operations and tenant relations to ensure service quality and contractual compliance
  • Engage regularly with guests and team members to drive satisfaction and engagement scores
  • Ensure preventive maintenance, deep cleaning, and property inspections are regularly conducted
  • Interview, hire, supervise, train, and counsel department managers to support efficient operations
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, brand and company policies and training requirements
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to promote communication and team cohesion
  • Manage human resources functions including recruiting, coaching, disciplinary actions, and workforce compliance with relevant laws
  • Operate the property sustainably with a focus on energy efficiency
  • Perform any other job related duties assigned to maintain hotel operation standards
