Job Requirements

  • Physical presence in Hixson, TN
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods while maintaining a professional image
  • Weekend availability

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in hospitality management or related field
  • 5+ years of experience with proven track record in sales and client acquisition
  • Must have working knowledge of FOSSEE/MARSHA systems
  • Previous experience with a Marriott property, preferably extended stay
  • Knowledge of Sales Force/Delphi or other CRM platforms
  • Knowledge of financial platforms such as M3, PayCor, and IBuy
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Job Duties

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel
  • Prioritize excellent guest experiences by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and maintaining high service brand standards
  • Develop and manage budgets, track revenue, analyze financial performance, and identify opportunities to increase profitability
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop the front desk staff to successfully perform selling techniques and procedures for current promotions
  • Foster positive relationships with guests, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Monitor and manage budgetary expenses to ensure cost efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
  • Manage and develop staff to ensure efficiency and high levels of customer service
  • Monitor industry trends and implement best practices
  • Provide the Revenue Management Department with market analysis of competitors’ rates and a forecast of local market conditions
  • Support sales efforts as directed by management and corporate sales organization
  • Utilize computer software applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Maintain full working knowledge of property management systems including FOSSEE
