Job Requirements
- 3 years minimum experience in a maintenance-type position
- ability to communicate operational activities, priorities, and problems with management, engineers, and supervisors
- knowledge of common causes of equipment malfunction
- ability to repair and replace basic heating and air conditioner systems
- skills in basic painting and caulking
- ability to use standard hand tools
- knowledge of preventative maintenance methods and techniques
- able to perform equipment operation tests
- knowledge of pool and spa chemical testing
- knowledge of handling fire equipment
- experienced expertise in construction trades highly desired
- previous hotel experience highly desired
- ability to perform various maintenance tasks including climbing stairs, walking over 10,000 steps a day, utilizing power hand tools, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- must be able to kneel, stand, and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions, and access high or confined spaces

- knowledge of handling fire equipment such as hand-held extinguishers and fire hoses
- expertise in construction trades highly desired
- previous hotel experience highly desired
- physical ability to perform maintenance tasks including walking, climbing, lifting, kneeling, and working in varying indoor/outdoor conditions
Job Duties
- Work independently and monitor the operations and functions of the interior and exterior areas of the property
- follow McKibbon Hospitality's established guidelines to ensure ongoing protection of company assets, associates, and guests
- promote enhanced guest satisfaction by offering professional and friendly interactions
- perform a variety of engineering and construction trade skills related to preventive maintenance and repairs in a timely and efficient manner
- interact with employees and guests and utilize proficient communication skills
- help promote a collaborative, proactive, and interactive environment with other associates of the hotel
- follow all safety protocols when using tools and equipment and ensure proper organized storage
