Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College degree in hospitality management preferred
  • Candidate must have at least one year of hotel or hospitality experience
  • Minimum of one year supervisory or lead experience
  • Experience with collective bargaining environments preferred
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite required
  • Knowledge of hotel property management system is preferred
  • Excellent phone etiquette, customer service and people skills relating to both internal and external guests
  • Must have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with persons of diverse backgrounds
  • Indoor environment
  • Long periods of standing and walking
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to push/pull up to 150 pounds
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and varied hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist with the selection, training, evaluation, and disciplinary actions of hotel front desk leads, agents, bell person, while creating an effective employee retention program
  • Creates schedules, tracks attendance, reviews time edit sheets, and tracks hours worked for payroll reports
  • Works with hotel management team to ensure optimal business and guest service experiences
  • Handles complaints, problems and requests by guests in a timely manner, and keeps guest satisfaction, pmrc integrity, reputation and policies in mind
  • Successfully check guests in and out of guest rooms, conduct all necessary guest transactions, and front desk reports in an expeditious manner
