Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year experience in a hotel front desk or similar customer service role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation management software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage stressful situations calmly
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
  • At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred
  • Experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
  • Impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
  • Flexible schedule with availability for mornings, evenings, and weekends

Job Duties

  • Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready
  • General bookkeeping to ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests' needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
  • Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers
