Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year experience in hotel front desk or customer service role
- ability to work full-time shifts including weekends
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in English language
- ability to use computer systems and office equipment
- capable of standing and walking for entire shift
- customer-oriented attitude with problem-solving capability
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends
Job Qualifications
- One year experience working as a hotel front desk agent
- competent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- experience using hotel reservation systems such as Lightspeed, FOSSE, or OnQ is a plus
- organization skills and attention to detail
- friendly and customer service oriented
- good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- ability to work weekends
Job Duties
- Greet guests at check-in with a smile and warm welcome and complete registration process
- greet guests at check-out with a smile and complete check-out process
- demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information and answer guest questions
- use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and loyalty programs
- follow acceptable phone etiquette by answering promptly and offering assistance
- respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently
- use attentive listening skills to handle guest complaints and escalate when necessary
- complete designated start and end-of-shift tasks and reports
- inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data
