Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in hotel front desk or similar customer service role
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends
  • Proficient in using computers and office equipment
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to handle cash and perform basic arithmetic
  • Ability to maintain calm and professional demeanor under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience working as a hotel front desk agent
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience using hotel reservation systems such as Lightspeed, FOSSE, or OnQ is a plus
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Friendly and customer service oriented
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work weekends

Job Duties

  • Greet guests at check-in with a smile and warm welcome and complete registration process
  • Greet guests at check-out with a smile and complete check-out process
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information and answer guest questions
  • Use upselling techniques to promote hotel services and loyalty programs
  • Follow acceptable phone etiquette and offer assistance
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently
  • Use attentive listening skills to handle guest complaints and escalate when necessary
  • Complete designated start and end-of-shift tasks and reports
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data
