Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in hotel front desk or similar customer service role
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends
- Proficient in using computers and office equipment
- Strong communication skills in English
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to maintain calm and professional demeanor under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience working as a hotel front desk agent
- Competent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience using hotel reservation systems such as Lightspeed, FOSSE, or OnQ is a plus
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Friendly and customer service oriented
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work weekends
Job Duties
- Greet guests at check-in with a smile and warm welcome and complete registration process
- Greet guests at check-out with a smile and complete check-out process
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information and answer guest questions
- Use upselling techniques to promote hotel services and loyalty programs
- Follow acceptable phone etiquette and offer assistance
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently
- Use attentive listening skills to handle guest complaints and escalate when necessary
- Complete designated start and end-of-shift tasks and reports
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data
