Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in a hotel front desk role
  • Ability to work 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm shifts
  • Ability to work weekdays and weekends
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with hotel reservation systems is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • One year experience working as a hotel front desk agent
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience using hotel reservation systems such as Lightspeed, FOSSE, or OnQ is a plus
  • Organization skills and attention to detail
  • Friendly and customer service oriented
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work weekends

Job Duties

  • Greet guests at check-in with a smile and warm welcome and complete the registration process
  • Greet guests at check-out with a smile and warm greeting and complete the check-out process
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and local area to answer guest questions
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services, facilities, and benefits of loyalty program
  • Follow acceptable phone etiquette by answering phone promptly and offering assistance
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and in a friendly manner
  • Use attentive and active listening skills to handle guest complaints and escalate to manager if necessary
  • Complete designated start and end-of-shift tasks and reports
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify credit card data
